As you can see our cats loved this scratcher from the minute we took it out of the box. Unfortunately we had to put it outside in the garage for a few days to air out - it had a strong chemical smell. Our kitten is small enough to climb through the middle holes. Our trio loves scratchers they can stand on top of to really dig in. I like the asymmetrical design, and the carpet sides are a huge bonus. There's no assembly needed which is brilliant for us.

Pepper approved

Our cat Pepper approves of this lounger! She really loves to lay on her side and reach through with her front legs and then kick the fabric on the sides with her back legs! We toss her toys inside and she makes a silly game getting them out. She spends loads of time laying and scratching and just lounging. Price is a bit steep but it's well made and will last for years! Well made and great quality. Fabric on the sides is brilliant.

The best lounger

Got this as a replacement for the scratching pad that was falling apart. My cat started using the new one the second it hit the floor! Only thing that's a bit misleading is the cardboard isn't quite as light as the pictures show.

Excellent quality with minimal shedding

This is a great scratcher, honestly. I hate cardboard scratchers because the shedding of cardboard flakes everywhere drives me mad. But this one? It's got weight to it, and not just because of its size. The cardboard is packed together really tightly. I've seen very few flakes. The fuzzy fabric is protecting my floors. My cats love it - they've all taken a turn scratching on it. The kittens have a blast running through the holes and launching themselves off it. I frequently find a cat napping on it. Best of all - it comes assembled! No screwing plastic screws into cardboard with a pathetic tiny coin driver. It's pricey, but I think it's worth it.

My cats' new throne

I own another well-made lounge scratcher and this one holds up to it quality-wise. This one is wider but not as long. My cat really likes that this one sits higher and treats it like her throne. The cardboard is solid and my cat knew exactly what to do with it straight away. Since it's wider she can't tip it over, which is brilliant cause she can play rough. The carpet edges are a really nice touch too. If it was a bit longer it'd be the perfect lounge scratcher.
